It's been a while...

Silver_march_april_cover  Things around Replacements, Ltd. have been busy.  Spring is in the air and so is change.  Recently, my boss, Jack Whitley was promoted to Senior Vice President of E-Commerce.  In addition to this, the offline and online marketing teams merged.  This is going to be a great opportunity for me to learn more about the promoting of dinnerware and collectibles.  Each person in this unique marketing team brings with them a wealth of product knowledge...which is great for the readers of this blog!  You'll have more opportunities to learn about the inner goings-on of the tableware market.

Aside from the changes at Replacements, Ltd., I am busy completing my degree at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.  I have only two weeks of school and then I begin, for the first time, a day schedule at Replacements.  I am looking forward to this because it provides me with an opportunity to work so many new individuals.  This past Friday, I celebrated my six year anniversary at Replacements.  I started as a phone sales representative in 2000.  From there, I went to work in customer service focusing on our bridal registries and email customer service.  Three years ago, I began my this job as the company's online content specialist and have written copious amounts of text for our website and this blog.

It has been quite a journey and I have loved every minute of it.  The coming years are going to prove more rewarding as I search for new ways to keep our customers informed of the latest trends in the tableware market, write informative newsletters, and work with our Silver Magazine team.

I can honestly say that working for Replacements, Ltd. has been one of the most rewarding (if not the most rewarding) experience of my life.  I look forward to keeping in touch with my readers and responding to your emails.  Thank YOU so much!
