Fall Kick Off
Summer is almost over (and after three months of North Carolina heat and humidity, I'm not complaining). You should be receiving all of your fall catalogs from various companies in the mail soon, if you have not already received them. One thing you will notice is that brown is the new black and toile has made its comeback. The irony of this toile has always been popular in the dinnerware market in the form of brown transferwares. No company does toile as well as Johnson Brothers. This week, I will be posting about my favorite transferware patterns by Johnson Brothers.
"Historic America-Brown" was introduced in 2002 by Johnson Brothers. The multi-motif pattern features images of America's historic achievements and cultural icons. The earthenware body is decorated with brown image. The border is accented with geometric lattice work, acorns, and leaves. This pattern sets a great fall table. Be sure to check out the various pieces that are currently available in this pattern. I know you will love it.
